The gift-wrapped item is then placed inside a mailing box with foam packaging to protect the item during shipment. This box will then be shipped via USPS Express Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. Express Mail is very costly. For example, delivering a small 5 lb 12x12x12 package from California to New York using USPS Express Mail costs approximately $27.30 without insurance & delivery confirmation.
