What is Hong Tze?

Hong Tze is a special stone found in the Sou mountains of China and has a deep red color. The stone is pulverized, mixed with a binding agent and sculpted into shapes and figures. Sculptures and items made of Hong Tze are polished to further bring out the intense, deep red color. The Hong Tze Collection emulates this special stone from China using alabastrite polyresin polished to draw out the deep red color.
