Art Deco is a style that originated in Europe from 1920 to 1940. The 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes became the turning point of the Art Deco era. Art Deco was originally referred to as "Art Moderne" where style was exotic, risque and extravagant. Its bold style influenced architecture, cars, clothing, furnishing, jewelry, packaging and commercial design. Art deco style is a design which follows the phrase "anything goes" because its style can adjust with anything and can be applied anywhere.
